As a massive project, the Scottish Youth Football Association, we had to create a database driven website that would manage the registrations of every football team and official that want to be a member of the SYFA. This system includes over 5,000 clubs and over 30,000 officials and these are all controlled via the control panel we created to meet the aims of the SYFA.
The website is currently expanding on a daily basis and year on year since the project begun back in 2008. It now includes many more features including split level emailing system to all users & officials, season registrations for clubs, leagues, regions, tournaments, friendlies and officials. The system has grown into a business solution that works as it should to cover the everyday business needs of the association, so much so that the system we created for them is catching the eye of the National Football Associations too – so that’s all great news on what has been a very success project to design, code and manage over the previous years.
